Liberty University is largest private, nonprofit university in the United States as well as the largest Christian university in the world. It offers a wealth of degree options for students, both online and on-campus in Lynchburg, Virginia. Founded in 1971, Liberty is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, bachelor, masters, specialist, and doctoral degrees.

Liberty is a military-friendly school offering over 180 degree and certificate programs to military, veterans, and spouses of active duty members. Some of these programs include the following:

  • Air University – Associate to Baccalaureate Cooperative Program (AU-ABC)
  • College of the American Soldier (CAS)
  • GoArmyEd
  • Navy College Program Distance Learning Partnership (NCPDLP)
  • Troops to Teachers (TTT)

Liberty is authorized to certify students who qualify for the Montgomery GI Bill, Active Duty/Selected Reserves and Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program, Reserve Education Assistance Program. The school is also authorized to certify students who qualify for the Post 9/11 GI Bill and Vocational Rehabilitation.
